This year is the seventh year that the Nordic Contemporary Art Center has landed in Aotou, and it is also the twenty-sixth year since the establishment of the institution.

As the first batch of diversified international art centers settled in Aotou, Xiang'an, and also the only non-governmental organization in China that has long-term art and cultural exchanges with Northern Europe. During the past 26 years, adhering to the "Discovery-Connection-Communication-Promotion-Education”with the mission and the core values of "Art Local Globalism", Art is used as a bridge to integrate multiple resources from China and foreign countries. We are working on a professional platform and window for promoting cultural exchanges between two sides. Through frequent international cultural exchange activities, there has been intensive interaction with local culture and community life.    

Year after year, this kind of communication has become wider and deeper with the hard working from our team, as well as the support of multiple parties. Today, when the boundary between art and life is becoming more and more blurred, a systematic "art+" cultural and creative base and a creative industry network have been gradually established, providing artists and viewers with rich cultural experience and artistic comfort.

The opportunities for display are far behind the speed of creation, and repeated details can always reap different emotions. In this special collection exhibition, we once again present works that have touched and surprised us during our past cultural exchange journeys. These colors that have been precipitated for a long time and the creative background behind them interweave time and space into a warm current, which is gentle and murmuring, moistening things silently, and warming our hearts again.
